About DOTAVA
Built for Public Infrastructure. Delivered with Accountability.
DOTAVA is an integrated transportation infrastructure company serving public agencies across Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia.
Who We Are
An Integrated Delivery Partner
DOTAVA was founded to address a gap in how public transportation infrastructure is delivered: too many projects suffer from fragmented responsibilities, misaligned vendors, and a lack of a single accountable team that sees the work through from planning to field completion.
We bring together traffic safety, civil infrastructure, smart mobility, procurement, and project delivery under one roof — providing public agencies with a partner that can coordinate complexity without losing accountability.
Our Positioning
From Public Need to Field Execution
DOTAVA's positioning reflects a commitment to end-to-end delivery: we don't hand off at the design phase and disappear, and we don't enter at construction having missed critical planning decisions.
Our team's combined experience spans signal systems, ITS integration, pavement, drainage, procurement, and project management — allowing us to apply the right expertise at every phase.
Our Values
What Guides Every Engagement
Safety for All
Every decision — from equipment selection to work zone design — is anchored in protecting workers, road users, and the communities we serve.
Accountability
We own the outcome. When complexity arises, we coordinate rather than deflect — delivering what we commit to.
Coordinated Delivery
Transportation projects cross organizational boundaries. Our team is built to bridge agencies, contractors, and suppliers.
Long-Term Value
We advise toward durable infrastructure decisions, not short-term cost savings that create future liability.
